Vine Ridge is indeed a retreat. Hidden in the Axarquia hills near to Comares, it provided everything I could possibly need for a -get away from it all break-. The studio is great and contained every mod con to make me feel comfortable and at home. It is an easy drive from there to Comares, a gorgeous village nearby, perched on top of the mountain. Or else, if I had felt energetic, I believe that the walk over the hills to Comares is only about 30 minutes. I was an almost daily visitor to the village. I loved to explore there, climb through the streets, visit the landmarks and take in the stunning views. The people are very friendly and helpful, particularly in the cafe in the village square. I enjoyed sitting there in the sunshine watching the life of the village pass by. David and Jacqui are excellent hosts. I highly recommend Vine Ridge Retreats!

Got back yesterday from what i can only describe as heaven, we've had an amazing 9 days at vine ridge studio. The views are fantastical, the hosts an absolute pleasure, and the three friendly little dog's just completed our holiday. Can highly recommend this.

Our second visit to Vine Ridge, and we weren't dissapointed, The Welcome, both human an canine was just as warm as our first visit. We hired a car with a little more power so it was easy to get up to vine ridge. Booking is easy with David and Jacqui and we can see a third visit when we want to recharge our batteries again.

Just returned from a short break at Vine Ridge. I wasn't prepared for how spectacularly beautiful the setting and the views were! David & Jacqui were the perfect hosts - friendly, informative, and so incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. One last thing - the beds were really comfortable!
